Petition to Sky. Don't you muck up my White V1 router.
We the undersigned
hold these truths to be self-evident, that all routers are not created equal, that we are endowed by the Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are the right to access the Internet using any router we like.
Furthemore, we ask that:
1. You give customers the option to accept or
reject the firmware upgrade to the White V1 router.
Or
2. Have routers freely available to send out by
the next day City Link service.
3. Take responsibility for any hardware failure caused by
the upgrade and not use the excuse that it must be a co-incidence.Last edited by murdock; 01-02-08 at 05:09 PM. Reason: Revised and para deleted. Originally intended as a spoof petition, this idea seems to be gaining traction. Sky take note.

Good point O howling one, never had any trouble with my V1 once Bt had connected me to a working dslam port.( Took 'em 3 months though! )
Presumably if it all goes t**s up you can roll back to the previous release.
Thats reply number 1.Last edited by penrhyn; 01-02-08 at 11:43 AM.

Yup, me too.
Tho I have a feeling that the fireware upgrade will be fine, but would be good to have an option to delay the update for a while.
