Sky set to lose about 250 million.

      Just reported on Sky news.

The government has made a descion about Sky's ownership of just over 17% of ITV, it has orderd Sky to drop it's stake in ITV to 7.5%.

Given that the share price in ITV has fallen about 45% since Sky bought those shares it is set to lose about 250 million!

That's a big hit to take no matter what.

Depends on share prices when Sky sell, they haven't been set a date yet for when they must sell by.

And maybe it's a small price as it kept ITV out of the grasp of Virgin. So maybe a short term loss for a long term gain. Bet we, the customer, pays for it in the end.
