    This is a discussion on star wars within the General chat forums, part of the Community channel category; dont know if anyone else has seen this but back in october a group got together and built a copy ...

      dont know if anyone else has seen this but back in october a group got together and built a copy of the x wing from star wars including r2d2

      lmao !!!, seriously i wonder why they tried to launch it vertically ? surely some sort of dolly like the early german jets used which drops off as the jet rotates would have worked better ?

      think they thought the plywood and balsa would take the strain [well it worked in the first movie ] tbh i think i would break down and cry if i had been involved with all that work and seen it crash and burn [but then again maybe not as i never liked that rd2d he was always a smart a**
