      Re: Sky Technical support

Sounds like Sky CS have put in a request to their tech department to call you - I think they work to something like a 3- 5 day turn around for "normal" calls but I'd have hoped the internal request would put you further up the queue. You could of course call before then but I'm guessing (I don't know how that part off Sky works) that without a ticket number you'll need to go through the first level CSA rigmarole.

if I were you I'd be tempted to write a reasonable and factual email to the head honcho Mr M explaining how disappointed you've been with the tardiness shown when dealing with your problem. That will get picked up by a specialist complaints team and something should then happen.

It's a shame that Sky fall down so badly from time to time but I know from personal experience that trying to manage millions of customers through massive call centre functions can be a real headache. No one can get it right 100% of the time but how companies deal with complaints once they're made known to them says a lot about the integrity of the company.

      Re: Sky Technical support

We had a phone call this morning and the nice lady thought it was to do with our sky+ box and after explaining to her what is the problem she said that someone will be ringing tonight well surprise surprised no one rang and we stayed in waiting for the phone call.
looks like a phone call and the nut cracker in hand is needed for tomorrow
I am so cheesed off the more you pay the more they don't care
      Cheers

      Re: Sky Technical support

Well after a long winded conversation with someone, we were told there is been a problem with this product for a long time now. So looks like Sky are loosing it.
Oh well not a lot we can do just have to wait.
doesn't say a lot about customer care though
      Cheers
