      A positive post

Ive just read the post below in another forum. (thinkbroadband)
Its nice to see a new customer having a good experience.
I hope my migration goes this smoothly in the New Year.

Based on my own experiences, my father-in-law signed up for the 'free' broadband offer - he was with Eclipse and apart from poor customer service had a max speed of around 500Kbps due to long line length.

Yesterday on the advised date Sky broadband became active and he is now clocking speeds of just shy of 2Mbps, so he is well chuffed (One can but wonder why Eclipse couldn't deliver this speed).

When I spoke to him by video chat last night he still couldn't believe the positive experience he'd had. From the way Sky processed the order, the kit turning up when Sky suggested it might, the fact that the broadband service started at the beginning of the 3-day window, and that all he had to do was connect up the wireless router, power it up and get surfing - no configuring the router, loading software, etc.

He reckoned that his total time was about 30 minutes - 20 to place his order and 10 to get surfing. I wonder how many others have had such a smooth installation?

I read that on Think Broadband. Nice to see people take the time to write about positive experiences.

      Re: A positive post

I have said this quite a few times but it is human nature to complain when things don't go right but when people do have agood experience a company we do on the whole keep quiet. I am in the happy account with Sky (both TV and broadband) so put me down as another happy camper.
