      Sky Special Offers

It looks like Sky are test mailing a number of offers.
But only to selected existing users.
They look excellent for members NEW to Sky.
I realise this will annoy some existing members who
did not, or cannot get the offer but…

Why not keep Skyuser members and visitors
updated on one thread or section like Current Offers?

      For example I have noticed:

      also post 8 on:

      Hi Murdock

Great idea, I can set a sticky thread up for you if you can point them out to us.

We just do not have enough time to check every thread.

      Re: Sky Special Offers

noticed a full page spread in my local paper from a west midlands company
sky+ box 49 pounds (40 hours of programming)
      standard instullation 30 pounds

OFFER AVAILABLE TO ALL SKY TV SUBSCRIBERS

      offer extended to 30 November

seems to good, reconditioned box maby?

surely they would make more cash selling the boxes on ebay, or do they do a deal with sky, and dont call me surely

      Re: Sky Special Offers

      Stripe, What company was it?

In our local paper, There was a company that was doing this, £49 Sky+ and £25 Install,
After querying this with them, I found out some things,
      a) Only install on the weekends - They install it.
      b) You have to renew your contract with THEM who then arrange it with Sky - Commission Perhaps??
