Can anyone give me advice on getting a new telly?

Hey guys, Sorry for posting this here but everyone i know is as clueless on this subject as i am. So im hoping mabye someone could answer a couple of questions for me here?
Im currently looking to upgrade my old boxes (monitor and tv) to a new flat screen jobie. What im looking for is a machine that can do both so i dont have to buy two seperate units. All ive managed to find so far is Samsung SM2032MW 20" LCD TV/Monitor HDTV Ready 1680x1050 1000:1 300cd/m2 RGB/DVI-D/HDMI PIP 3 Years Warranty - Ebuyer . So what i am wondering is can i plug my sky into this tv and my monitor? and have them on the screen at the same time?

If you mean both images on the screen at the same time ( split screen ),rather than flicking between the 2 input signals, then I dont think so as there is no mention of that facility, you could always check samsungs website. Also what output do you have from your sky box, I think i'm right in saying only the hd boxes have an hdmi output so you would need an adapter scart to hdmi/vga ( I am assuming they exist )

Looking at the eBuyer site, It states it is full HD (1080p) which is future-proofed if you ever get a newer gen console (PS3/Xbox) or HD-DVD/Bluray
