      RIP Lil' Jordan.

Jordon had leapt into the water at John Pit after his eight-year-old stepsister Bethany got into difficulties as they collected tadpoles.
He was trying to support Bethany as she struggled in the six-feet-deep water before slipping from view.

Two anglers waded in and pulled Bethany to safety using their rods but Jordon became submerged. The alarm was raised and the PCSOs arrived. Police said they could see no sign of Jordon in the water, so they radioed trained officers for help.

its sad to see the boy had drowned but i think the 2 police were right as they didnt know what or where the boy was ,my friends father died 20 years ago "rescuing 2 guys from a new sewer they had been installing [oxygen deficient atmosphere ,he went into the pit to pull them out and all 3 were killed ,it took 4 firecrew with ba to recover the bodies ] the 2 police could well have been lost as well ,it is heartbreaking but why blame them ,

I agree that is was the right thing to do in not jumping in as we could be looking at three people loosing their lives. It is so sad but what were the parents doing, were they not keeping an eye on their children and why couldn't they have done something. It is all well and good for them to have a go at the PCSOs but where were they ?

It has also been mentioned that because he was not visible above the water when the PCSOs arrived, the boy could have also been dead.
