Re: Do You Thin Royal Mail Should Be Allowed To Strike?
I think they should be able to strike, as someone said, make sure all letters and packages have been delivered.
Im only hacked off because I have to wait another day to get my package LOL
Until you can beam a item through the internet, we just have to put up with it.
I'll ask Ged if he will work on such a machine

They should have the right to strike as everyone should. I've been waiting for a package now for 10 days and it is stuck in the mailing system somewhere! If you need a package urgently use a reputable service, I ordered a printer and it was sent through CityLink. It arrived 16 hours after despatch which in my opinion is well worth the extra money!

Re: Do You Think Royal Mail Should Be Allowed To Strike?
The postal strike is a throwback to the pre-Thatcher days.
Margaret Thatcher broke the Unions, introduced privatisation,
and today we have one of the strongest economies in the world.
Gordon Brown was just the caretaker.
Ironically, Mrs Thatcher would not touch the Royal Mail -
for the bizarre reason that a stamp has an impression
of the Queen’s head.
Now the private and foreign mail companies are taking over.
The Postal Union and Royal Mail will both lose.

Re: Do You Think Royal Mail Should Be Allowed To Strike?
I think it's about time Royal Mail had some competition though. A first class stamp whether it has the Queens head or Harry Potter means nothing now. You never know when or even if something is going to turn up in the mail now!

Re: Do You Think Royal Mail Should Be Allowed To Strike?
I hope they do strike then maybe my mail will stop being nicked. Had so much of it now im thinking of going to the police. I have even posed myself letters and they have never turned up. So either my postie hates me or he's most interested in my life!!! I would put a cost of about £2k of revenue lost in last few months. But you know what really takes the biscuit? Yep you guessed it all my bills arrive
