      Hi Bryan

I would ring Sky customer service and calmly state your case for compensation, you will only get a yes or a no.

As for approaching a member of Sky staff at their home address, I would say is irresponsible and threatening behaviour, and definitely not within your rights.

At the end of the day that individual represents the company he or she works for and you do not know the reason why you were not given compo.

If it were me and you wrote to my home address I would tell you where to go or report you to the Police for harrasment, buts thats just my view.

Please think carefully and try the CS option. They are nice and I managed to get some for all my hassle. The secret is remain calm and state your case in an undisputable way.

      Your call.

If I were that manager, you would have the Police knocking on your door.

As for no one knowing her, well with over 10,000 employee's that is quite likely.

Call back, explain the situation and if you don't get anywhere ask to have the situation escalated.

Glad you saw sense, yes Sky do mess people around, and tbh there is no excuse, but training and bringing everyone to speed should eventually sort things out. Long term great, short term, frustrated customers.

      Try emailing customer services
      BroadbandCustomerService@BSkyB.com
I was polite but persistent and eventually received compensation via a credit to my sky account.
      Hope this helps

I've never received a penny in compensation from sky even though it was promised on three occassions.

Complain in writing and remember "your time" has a costs also they are charging you each time you phone them to complain - send a copy to the registered office (Isleworth Middlesex) give them 14 days to respond then issue a County Court Summons to the registered office -wait 20 days then apply for judgment and send in the bailiffs -

      Re: pie in the sky

In the past I've always asked for the name of the person I'm speaking too, noted the date and time of the call also. But just because they say they will offer you compensation in a phone call in know way implies they have to legally.
