can anyone help, i am moving home soon and was wondering if it was possible to end my contract at that house and start a new one in the new house, that way i could get a new box, as mine is getting a bit old now, and i don't wont to pay out for a new one (cheep sod)

      Re: moving home

Hugsie one of our moderators has successfully managed to move homes whilst on Sky Broadband, she was going to do a story on how it went, but I don't think she has yet

I think in all honesty your contract continues and I am not 100% that there are no charges for moving either.

      Re: moving home

Well from my experience of moving home they have to cancell your broadband to one property then reorder at a new property, so technically you are cancelling and reordering. I don't know how likely you are to get a new router out of them though!

      Re: moving home

i haven't got broadband yet, just the tv, but my sky box is about 9yrs old so it's not going to last much longer.
that's why i want to stop the contract, and start a new one,
