I have both the CS:S and BF2 games and when I play online I tend to get a lagged performance every 2-3 mins (or so). This is quite annoying as I know it is not the line or the router. I use a Belkin 54 MB USB adapter and the strength is very good so i don't understand what exactly the problem is.
