Gamer Profile
Have Sky done away with the gamer profile on their service ?, when I first joined sky I had a ping of around 47-55 and online gaming was pretty good. Just lately it has gone up to 150ms.
I phoned sky today and was told they now don't have a gamer profile and the high ping is to do with my PC, he was told that the ps3 and xbox don't go through the PC and are connected to the router via Ethernet cables he then told me that it was the cables that are faulty even though they are brand new.

you got a wrong'n on the phone there. happens now n' again.
sky definitely still provide gamer profiles (max delays set to 8ms)
just give them another call

Some areas have been have issues with bandwidth recently. Personally I blame all of these people on SFU
.
