Max delays and ping??
Hiya lads
Im still quite new to Sky bb. I was with vrigin all last year and had the odd lag but still had a four bar connection on MW2. this year i dont think i lag at all but i only ever get 3 bars now. On halo reach they say i have a warning on my upstream says its sub-optimal. Ping wise i average about 50-60 when i test, then i read about having your max delay lowered through sky... is this worth doing and what are the effects to my line?
Thanks for your timeLast edited by Quantum1; 23-10-10 at 12:59 PM.

Re: Max delays and ping??
All of the CST members will know what you want, but some of the Tier 1 agents who you first talk to might not. If you have no luck with first, hang up and try again.

Re: Max delays and ping??
I don't game online but I do know that in certain games the ping is all important, more so than your actual speed. I believe Sky are now doing a 'gamer profile', not sure if it is universal, or tied to Sky's own network, but it might be worth asking to be put on that.

Re: Max delays and ping??
I don't think so, those who have gone on it are very pleased.
