Port opening query for Blizzard

Hi,
I have not done a great deal of work with routers but I am d/l update from Blizzard which shows I appear to be behind a firewall! I guess thats the router/sky setting?
Can anyone advise and how do I go about making it compatible to the Blizzard setting need? tia
Sorry if its been asked elsewhere as I could not find reference to it anywhere.

The blizzard updater is a rubbish torrent program that doesn't work unless you completely drop you firewall, and then not always, the "you are behind a firewall" is a cop out by them for such a horrid way of updating world of warcraft.
