Nintendo DS / Sagem connection difficulties
Hi All,
I know there a half-a-dozen threads similar to this, but none seem helpful.
I have a Sagem F@st 2504 router (how lovely and new it looks), and when connecting to the DS's Wi-Fi via an Auto-Search method, the rather unhelpful message "The access point's security setting are not supported by the Nintendo DS."
After thoroughly checking NintendoWIFI.com for troubleshooting, all I turned up with was basically, that it couldn't be done unless changing my router settings to WEP, or disabling the security altogether. I have tried, and failed to do the former, and am obviously reluctant to try the latter!
I have heard about using a previous router, but this is the first Sky router in this house. I believe the las tone was a BT one (not my choice, by the way!)
Has anyone managed to resolve this annoying problem?

Re: Nintendo DS / Sagem connection difficulties
As you have discovered the DS does not support WPA, only WEP. Using the automatic method is easiest, just select WEP under Security and type a word or phrase into the passphrase box and click Generate. If you leave the encryption at 64 bit you will be given a choice of 4 Keys. Select the one you want to use by selecting it's radio button and make a note of it. Use this Key when connecting the DS or any other PC or device.
