Yes, it's still acceptable. I knew the risks of possible capping before I filled out the Kana form asking the Max-delays to be lowered. Obviously though it's nice to get as much bang for your buck as possible.
I guess I just should have just researched different ISP's first a little better. Not knowing how broadband works very well, I just summised that low ping readings were associated with better download/upload speeds. Not worth stressing over now though, however.

Re: will lowering the max delay to 8s improve gaming o xbox live
OK, in a further effort to improve my connection I need to access my router. However, I can't remember my username/password combination, and admin/sky isn't working (nor admin/admin)
How do you reset it? I pressed the button on the back with a pen (The tiny tiny button) but it's not worked; admin/sky still isn't working (I was connected wired to it too)
Also, does anyone know the IP address of Skys DNS server? Is there any advantage to using another DNS server over Skys?

If you haven't changed the password then it is admin/sky. All in lowercase though, if that doesn't work then I think you need to stick a pin or paperclip in the little hole for 10 seconds.

Yeah Admin/Sky ain't working, and I've tried reseting, but no joy. Hmm... I'll try again.
Does it matter if the router is on or off when you reset?
