Help Hosting/Joing Game
Hello,
I'm having a spot of trouble hosting a game. I can Join games but for some reason Age Of Empires will only show my IP as 192.168.0.2 when i host one. I understand i have to do some sort of disabling DMZ/DCHP server thing.
Any Idea?Last edited by Monday; 21-07-08 at 08:00 PM.

Re: Help Hosting Game.
You would probably have to forward ports to the IP of the PC I would have thought?
Let me know the port numbers and I will help you through it.~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

Re: Help Hosting Game.
Initial TCP Connection 47624 Outgoing 47624 Incoming
Subsequent TCP Incoming 2300-2400 2300-2400
Subsequent TCP Outgoing 2300-2400 2300-2400
Subsequent UDP Incoming 2300-2400 2300-2400
Subsequent UDP Outgoing 2300-2400 2300-2400
Are the required ports.
I've sort of port forwarded these but not too sure if its right?
Also should i touch any of these settings?
.
When i click on "show Ip" in AOE it states "192.168.0.2" would this affect me hosting in anyway, and i should get my real ip from the router page?
Cheers
