number for max delays change
Hello guys , can someone please tell me which number i need to ring and what to press to get someone who understands what maximum delays are , this really starting to **** me off when i call them and they don't know what it is and they give random advices for me... example just now i called Broadband technical support on default old number , asked him if he can change my maximum delays to 8 and he didn't know what that is i told him to transfer me to someone who knows about it , after 5 mins he said "i think it's problem in ur video card" ah k... i just told him bye.
also i tried to email sky but that didnt work as well.

08442410515. Just say I have a slow connection speed and want my delays changed. They will go through some stuff just, say I have done it. Be calm etc, and then you should get put through to the next level and they should change them straight away for you.

Welcome to the world of outsource T1 agents, not all have been briefed on max delay and if they haven't been briefed they cannot handle the call. You need to get through to cst to have the delay reduced.

called them again and woohoo the lady transfered me to CST and they changed my max delays to 8 and now my pings r alot better , from 45 to 25 , thanks guys.

It can be a bit tricky getting through the people that can actualy help, but once you do it's worthwhile.

I know the op has now been sorted but for anyone else reading you can also request max delays to be reduced via the kana form, others have reported a quick resolution doing it this way.
