Bad Ping On Sky!

ya you heard it right

the ping on sky is really bad on UK server im getting 100 Ping/ms and it sucks its had a massive effect on my game and its annoying lol

anything which could help?

do what i done move to BEthere as from monday 2nd june ill be on 20meg with pings of around 20.

with sky im on 4meg 359up and 150 ping

^^ You moving house as well ? to go from 4 to 20 meg ? be is upto 20 as mid is upto 8. PIngs might be better tho

no my line got sorted and i questioned them. i spoke to there manager to make sure i get the full whack or near. as ive had 2 isp AOL and SKY and i perfer AOL so far. sky are useless. i donr my research and BE allways came in top2 with BT and i hardly seen any bad feedback. unlike on here there's LOADS skys good for surfing the net but not good gaming. i get around 145ping every day. i gave my line stats and both BE and there forums say ill get around 17-21meg and i could get more if i sort the internal wiring. so dont get me wrong sky are good for value but not for gaming. and im in a very competitve clan on ps3 and we enter tourneys for money. and sky let me down. its been an ok 11months with sky but BE win

Have you phoned sky to get your pings changed ? ?

i dont phone them as they dont know what there talking about. was on the phone for an hour 5mins trying to tell them there's aproblem with my line but they didnt understand. i done the email atleast 6x and heard no response each time. at this time my line is

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 5120 kbps 384 kbps
Line Attenuation 24.0 db 16.0 db
Noise Margin 22.6 db 13.0 db

Up until about 16:30 is a little quiet, just say to the 1st people you get to. I am a gamer can I have my pings changed.
