Hey
System Up Time: 25:41:27

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 7616 kbps 384 kbps
Line Attenuation 13 db 3.5 db
Noise Margin 8 db 14 db
Here are my router stats (attached as well as I can't get 'em to line up or insert an image :-P).
On the whole, they seem quite good to me (am I missing something?). Thing is, I transferred in March-ish from an 8mb Freedom2Surf connection with my own DG834G router & with F2S, I regularly got 768kbps indicated upload but I've never been close with Sky & their 934v2.
Shortly after getting Sky, I switched off UPnP to solve conn problems (which it did) without realising it hampered my Xbox conn.
When I first started researching Xbox prob, noticed U/L was down at 150-ish (D/L down at 6mb-ish) but went back up to no.s above when rebooted.
Incidentally, router takes at least 5 mins to sync when rebooted (previous router connected in seconds).
Have switched UPnP back on now and have experienced 3 disconnections in four days. Waiting for the next downtime (currently 25 hours up) before having another go at DMZ or port forwarding.
Pinging bbc.co.uk gets me this:
PING 212.58.224.131 (212.58.224.131): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 212.58.224.131: icmp_seq=0 ttl=122 time=60.0 ms
64 bytes from 212.58.224.131: icmp_seq=1 ttl=122 time=50.0 ms
64 bytes from 212.58.224.131: icmp_seq=2 ttl=122 time=50.0 ms
64 bytes from 212.58.224.131: icmp_seq=3 ttl=122 time=50.0 ms
--- 212.58.224.131 ping statistics ---
4 packets transmitted, 4 packets received, 0% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max = 50.0/52.5/60.0 ms
Which seems pretty poor? I'm thinking I should be pinging about half that, what does everyone else think?

Re: Bad Ping On Sky!
Give Sky a ring now, chances are they will do it whilst on the phone. Tell them you need your Max_delays lowering.
