What MAX DELAY settings am I on?
Hi, I was just wondering what my MAX DELAY settings are currently on?
And, if not on 8/8, would I see lower pings if it were on 8/8? I currently have a 20m RJ11 phoneline running from master socket sky filter to the router upstairs in my room. I have to do this in order to play WIRED gaming, but would like to improve on ping times. So main questions, can I lower my max delays lower to see lower pings?

Re: What MAX DELAY settings am I on?
no they haven't, that isn't the delay settings...the stats don't show it...it's been suggested that is the setting but Sky use 3 delays settings - 32, 16 and 8...
best bet is to call Sky and ask CST (if you can speak to them)...-------------------------------------------

Re: What MAX DELAY settings am I on?
as said, i doubt the settings in the stats are anything to do with the max delays...if your delays are on 8s already (call Sky and find out) then there's nothing else that can be done...

Re: What MAX DELAY settings am I on?
The Delay is found in the Delay Stats bit - delay: 9.07 8.61
The delay that is configured is not the actual delay that it will be, its the max delay, it could be less, but the delay figure is what it actually is.
I think the d is interleaving depth~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~
