360 connection issues
I have my 360 connected to my netgear router (wired) and I am having frequent connection issues, now i'm not sure if its my router / my phone line / my filters or my the 360 !
Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction!
Importantly my pc connection (althought not used that often appears to be stable)
The symptoms are:
Turn on the 360 and it does not auto log me into live, i click on connect and sometimes it logs me in some times not. I have auto log in turned on and sometimes it just logs in fine.
The only way to get the thing logged in when this happens is to unplug the router and back in again and hope it connects, this usually works.
Once i am on live the connection (if being used constantly when i'm playing multiplayer) is almost always stable. But if i log in, but play a non multiplayer game for some time (hour or so) when i eventually decided to play multiplayer i often have to go through the unplugging the router process again...
Its as if when the routers on and i'm not using it much something occurs. It only becomes apparent when you start a multiplayer game and the 'disconnected from messenger' followed by ' disconnected from live' messages turn up.
When its working i get a fast connection and downloads are really quick. I just have to unplug the router far to often (like every day)

Could well be a filter or wiring issue, can you change the filter and plug the router into the test socket to see if this improves matters?
