Opening Nat for 3 xbox's
Hi there,
I have read through some posts and seen that the netgear v2 will only support 1 xbox as the other 2 are reporting back strict. Im not even going to phone sky for help as ill get the usual we dont support the 360 etc etc. I have tried port-forwarding changing to wep still not breakthrough. Therefore can any you guys suggest anything else to try and if need be a new router i should buy and the risk involved in this.
Thanks Ryan

Re: Opening Nat for 3 xbox's
Why not ask Netgear? Sky will not support it or even advise on it as you know since its not their equipment you are trying to connect to the router but Netgear UK tech support may know what is happening.

Re: Opening Nat for 3 xbox's
I think UPnP only allows one Xbox 360 at a time have a open NAT for example if you had all three Xbox's on at the same time one of them would have a Open NAT and the other 2 would have Strict NAT's.

Re: Opening Nat for 3 xbox's
Cheers for help guys after speaking to a friend i know he had similar problem and bought a d -link router so im going to do the same. Think sky should get a grip on this they are really good isp i moved from oragne who sucked. The majority of sky's users will be family homes who a lot of the time have more than 1 xbox, ps3 etc and only supporting 1 is outrageous but hey thats life eh nothings perfect
