Game server
Hello all.
I've just put OFP back in and i'm having trouble setting up a server i had no probs before when i just had a broadband Modem but now i've got a sky wireless router.
I have set the server up on my other machine but it will only show up as a LAN connection and the lads can't even see it if i get them to connect via remote after giving them the IP.
The router i'm using is a Sagem provided by sky any help will be great.
I'm doing this to see how the game goes before we purchase our own server again.
Plus if anybody has any screenshots of what i need to do it would be great.

Re: Game server
Hi
If you can find out any ports that need forwarding and then apply them to the router you should be fine.
If you need help give us a shout once you have the relevant numbers.~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

Re: Game server
Hi
OK the port is 2302
Follow these instructions:
Sky User - Unofficial Help and Support for Sky Broadband and everything Sky! - BitComet Port forwarding on a Sagem F@ST 2504 Router.
Substitue the Look for Listen Port and make a note of this number, in our example it is 25042
for
Look for Listen Port and make a note of this number, in our example it is 2302
And make sure that the PC which is the server for the game is the IP address you add for the PC to be forwarded to. (This is more likely to be 192.168.0.2 or 192.168.0.3)
In the example given it is 192.168.0.2 if you are using 192.168.0.1 that is definitely wrong.Last edited by NewsreadeR; 27-03-08 at 02:11 AM.
