Re: Really Laggy Gaming
nope...
socket>filter>splitter into phone side, phone into splitter>router into modem side
so just 1 filter, you can piggy back the phone through the splitter...-------------------------------------------

Re: Really Laggy Gaming
Hello,
I had exactly the same as you see this thread for help
http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/gamin...-spikes-2.html
Basically if you are using vista it is pooling your router every minute or so and this is why the game laggs.
Vista antilagg software may cure your problem. You may need to use XP drivers for your wirelesss card in the PC with them also. Sometimes it will work wiht Vista drivers sometimes it won't. I think that depends on the make of wirelkess card.
Bottom Line, a wired network is much better for gaming. I have hard wired my ganing pc as I found it better than woreless. Its a pain in the **** to run the cables and hid them, but I can now easily connect 2 PC to gether, when both were on wireless, it was very hit and miss using vista.

Re: Really Laggy Gaming
Well I've tried removing all extensions, moving the router right next to the socket, using a PC connected via ethernet but yet the problem still occurs. The spikes are not every fifty seconds, they're starting to happen every 10-15. I am not running Vista either.
