Halo 3, and skyBB connection problems

Ok, having horrific problems with xbox live on halo 3 at the moment. ever since christmas so at first i thought it was the xbox live problems they have been having. Basically today when i was searching for a game in matchmaking i never got one, it either got restarted or kicked me out befor it starts. Im starting to think that maybe its my side? So ok iv done the main things like forwarding the 3 ports, Unpn is also on now, but i havnt seen if it has helpd. Its just generally bugging me now, im also on a moderate NAT rather than Open, which i just dont understand. Can anyone help me to try and sort it out, or to show me something that will show me that its not my side, its XBL's side of things. Cause im starting to loose the will to live now
i checkd my speed test too and got this but i dont understand if its good or not. Can someone inlighten me please

i have seen other posts about Xbox live and it could well be a problem at there end (one thread spoke about the nat problem and it was the servers)
i'm not sure where it is but have you looked on the Xbox forums ? (dont use xbox sorry i cant help more)


Edit: as to your speed test, you will need to post your router stats and let us know if wired/wirless

where do i get my stats? im not too interlectual when it comes to this sorta thing.

log into your Router , ussername - admin / password - sky (not sure where to find them on the new routers, on the old white one, you just scroled down and pushed the show statistics button, then copy and paste

If it was all working fine before xmas then dont worry about posting your stats. It is indeed an Xbox Live server problem, take a look at this thread from the forums at xbox.com to see the extent of the problems and how many are affected (it makes for grim reading).

^^in truth, the above OP has little to do with the router, would it not be better to start a thread for this petition rather than plater it all over the place

Frankly using your own router will not make the Xbox Live problem go away.

The official forums are full of posts still saying how bad it is at peak times, even though MS are despartely deleting them 24/7.

The main thread on the US side is now rapidly approching 200 pages!

Until MS buys more bandwith and/or servers there is no fix for this and I can expect weeks more trouble with this. (until the 2 million people who signed up for 1 months free gold membership get so hacked off with it they don't subscribe anymore).

If you want to see if there is a problem with your router/connection for gaming try world of warcraft for free for 7 days, if then you are having problems there may be a problem with Sky.
