NAT reverted to moderate
Hi
I hope someone can help.
We are the LEAST techie couple on the face of the earth so please go easy on us.
This morning the NAT setting has reverted from open to moderate which is affecting game play (cant download upgrades etc).
Sky say speak to xbox ~ xbox say its a techinal issue with their server they are aware of but have no time scales for a fix. Im just not conviced either know what they are talking about.
Can anyone please help?

well, its nothing to do with Sky - Sky don't offer support to the advanced features of the router...and if XBox say they're having issues then its probably true. someone here said that they underestimated the take up this crimbo and they're having problems...

It is a problem related to Xbox Live, every time they have server issues a number of people have problems with NAT. It generally doesn't mean that your NAT has in fact changed, but the Live servers are mis-reporting the true state.
Don't worry about it at the moment, it should read the correct result as soon as microsoft resolve their issues.
