Wireless Signals On ps3

I was if the wireless signals made a big impact on the gaming lag?

I get around 82% signal rate, but surely this can be better can't it ?
I have had 100% on a few occasions but now I get around 75% to 80%.

The router is only in the next room to me.

could it be tv interference ? or cordless phone interference ?

whats the best place to place your router.

also will sky give me a new router if I moan to them about how it affects my gaming experience with bad signals?

add radio / microwave / dishwasher / christmas light and you can see that wireless is not all that good

i would hope not (thats only my veiw), but they do seem to give out replacement routers like there going out of fashion

as your case is an isolated case i.e. it isnt affecting everyone, Sky wouldnt give you a new router. This is because you are able to get a connection, and a pretty good one at that. 80% is nothing to worry about, and as you say you have had 100% before. So it seems understandable that there is something interfering with the signal that Sky has no control over.
