Gaming pings for ps3

Hiya I just done this was wondering if someone could tell me if this was ok.
I only get lag problems on pes 2008 on ps3 online.

otherwise online gaming is fine. But when downloading from the ps3 store the download is quite slow ? I get at least 14mb download on my pc.

Have you tried using the PS3 browser to do a speedtest at Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test to see what speeds your getting through it? I had to do a bit of moving about of the router to get it right.
