the kana form is a good way of doing it but most 'slow connection' tickets get the auto regrade without even needing it - highly annoying!!

Re: Max delay who do I contact?
Don't lower your MAX DELAY unless you have a relatively high speed rate to begin with. I had a 3.8Mb connection. Asked for my MAX DELAY to be dropped to 8, and they only dropped it to 16 and my connection went to 2.5Mb. Then got dropped to 8 and then connection went to 0.9. They will cap you like mad if you drop your MAX DELAY. Plus, it doesn't even lower pings by much. I had bout 85 ping on 32 DELAY, and now on 16 DELAY, I still get high pings of 80 regularly, hasn't gone below 75 on the speedtests and pings to bbc.co.uk!

Re: Max delay who do I contact?
they shouldn't cap your line as well as reduce the delays if you have them on the line - i never do anyway - if anything the sync should go up!!!

Re: Max delay who do I contact?
Well, *nudge nudge* I hope I accidently get you on the other side of the phone then Enemy... Maybe you could sort it out for me when you got spare time in your work
*wink wink* haha! I had my MAX DELAY reduced to I think 16 cause 8 would be too low they told me, and I happened to be capped, pings not much better, and just dissapointed! I just opened up a ticket to sort it out, and hopefully, they either uncap me, or they make my pings better... Lets just hope!

Re: Max delay who do I contact?
the only way the pings will be improved is to lower the delay - nothing else they can do...
as for capping, its usually done if the line is showing errors forming - so long as setup your end is optimised (in master socket etc) it shouldnt be too bad...-------------------------------------------

Re: Max delay who do I contact?
It is in master socket, no extension wiring either, except about a 20m RJ11 cable from the filter to my router upstairs, tested it with the RJ11 cable provided, and made no difference to the Attenuation. Anyway of lowering attenuation people? Will faceplate make a difference?

Re: Max delay who do I contact?
you'd be better off getting a 20m ethernet cable as the rj11 is more than likely gonna be generating some noise...its still an extention so normal rules apply - DON'T USE THEM!!

Re: Max delay who do I contact?
lol, I have such a complicated set-up. I have a 20m RJ11 cable running master socket filter to my 2nd bedroom with the router, and then a 20m ethernet cable from the 2nd room, into my Xbox. Probs not the best I agree, but I cant do much more! Sucks... I'll probs have to plug the router downstairs, and re-post router results, then someone can tell me if I should do somehting about anything to make things better lol. Thanks for help people!

Re: Max delay who do I contact?
