My pc and netgear router are upstairs whilst my consoles are downstairs, hence i cant connect via ethernet and have to rely on the wireless router. before i moved house my broadband was supplied by virgin and had a d-link router and i had no problems connecting so whats up... am i doing something worng or is there something i havent done....i,m no tech head so im really stuck.

Re: connecting wirelessly to xbox and ps3
Dont know about ps3, but for xbox try going to system blade in the dashboard, then choosing 'Network Settings', then restore to factory defaults.
After that, try to connect again making sure you select the correct SSID and enter the network key correctly (case sensitive).
Hope this helps a bit.

What error do you get when you run the network test from the system blade within xbox?
