Third party modem
Hi
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find a reference anywhere.
I have the standard Sky broadband setup in my upstairs "office", with the Netgear router straight out the box.
I also have a Buffalo Adsl modem/router downstairs, which I want to configure to use with my xbox. What settings do I need to do this?
I can manually configure the Buffalo, but is there any documentation anywhere on the settings required for Sky?
Will I need a second Netgear from Sky?
ANY help appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Third party modem
So you are wanting to connect the buffalo to the xbox and to let it access the sky wireless network? it all depends if the buffalo wireless router can be put into client mode? do you have the exact model?

Re: Third party modem
No, sorry, I didn't make myself very clear.
I want to use the Buffalo (Airstation G54), as the connection to ADSL, with the Netgear router switched off.
I just need the stuff like PPoA/PPoE, VPI/VCI, etc (essentialy the settings needed to "talk" to Sky broadband.
