Re: Should i go for SKY MAX?? (Zen User)
Hey guys and gals thanks for the replies,
based on the MANY MANY posts ive read and browsing the terms and conditions i think im gonna stick with my current provider....
...i realise i shouldnt grumble when its a tenner a month but sky really needs to rethink the router situation and maybe listen to the concerns people have when it comes to:
- A. the POOR customer service handling and;
- B. the performance of the connection (concerning pings and sustained download speed).
Im sure these will be resolved over time but right now its not for me....i will be keeping an eye on this forum though to check how its fairing.
Thanks again people.

Well I've been with Sky since November last year and I have no complaints what so ever, brilliant as far as I'm concerned.
But hey if you want to carry on giving your current provider an extra £15 a month for nothing then go for it! thats £180 a year!
Dont forget people only tend to come to these forums if they have a problem so dont let them put you off.Last edited by Koala5; 30-08-07 at 03:06 PM.

Re: Should i go for SKY MAX?? (Zen User)
you get what you pay for. A service costing over twice as much should be a hell of a lot better than sky's offering. For a tenner you cant expect the world.
In my case I was paying plusnet £24pm and now sky £10pm. I can assure you that sky's service is far better than plusnets in EVERY way.

I have also had nothing but praise for the sky max service.
14mbs sync speed, always 1.4mb per sec on http downloads ( where applicable ) and 10 to 30ms pings on cs:s servers i cant grumble for £2.50 a week. If you dont have a line issue when you join sky then you dont need Customer Support at all.
