Cnc3
Have just bought CNC3 for PC and have to say it's pretty good. After the same old same old of RA2 etc this has taken things a good leap forward. I'm still crap at playing it though but at least when I die I look good.

Re: Cnc3
I loved the demo of this.
Great cast too!
Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian), Michael Ironside (V, Starship Troopers, Total Recall, etc., & also Sam Fisher in Splinter Cell), Grace Park (Sharon in BSG), Tricia Helfer (No.6 in BSG), & Josh Holloway (Sawyer in Lost).
I'm not sure whether to get it for PC or 360 though. PC = cheaper, but playing via XBL on the 360 could be v good. Although the PC controls (kb/mouse) would prob. be better than using a control pad.

Re: Cnc3
That's a tough call.
It's pretty hungry resource wise on the PC but what isn't these days. I agree with you on the control system but having played Oblivion on 360 found that quite easy to control. Mind you I've got Oblivion on PC & 360 and find the loading delays easier to handle on 360 for some reason.
Try a 360 demo if you can find one and see what you think.

Re: Cnc3
Just like to add maybe not worth the extra for the Kane edition. Unless you like to watch 'making of' documentaries.

Re: Cnc3
I think there's a 360 demo due out, so I'll take your advice & wait for that. Then I'll have a better idea of which version to get.

Re: Cnc3
The 360 demo came out today... well, yesterday, as it's now Sat.
Just tried it (took a while to download - seems demand was quite high & XBL quite slow!).
Not bad.
Controls are a bit strange compared to mouse/keyboard, but seem to work well.
Has a training mission, teaching the basics & the controls, plus two single player missions (same ones as in the PC demo) & also an XBL multiplayer demo mission. Haven't tried the mp one yet.
