xbox 360 and wep

hi all

i use a wireless bridge to connect to my (now old ntl) linksys router, because its a 3rd party thingy the xbox recognised it as wired and therefore could not change wireless security. i filtered what could and couldn't access the router by mac address filtering. now i have the netgear router on a wep security setting is there any way around getting the xbox to be allowed or do i have to go back to mac filtering?


i could buy the xbox wireless thing but its a bit over priced for what it is in my opinion....

I think you have to connect the wireless bridge to a PC, change the settings via that, & then reconnect it to the Xbox.
