Is this acceptable levels
I have had sky q installed with a hybrid LNB
Put old box in kitchen and used the coax that used to pipe the sky box to it onto the sat cable. The run is quite far
Are these levels ok good quality but not very strong

Re: Is this acceptable levels
If you don't get any pixelation or breaking up of the picture then they are probably adequate though there is little margin for the signal to survive heavy rainfall or small movements of the dish that may occur in high winds.

Re: Is this acceptable levels
That signal strength does seem low on your sly + box. It is more important to have high signal quality.
You should have no issues.
You will find Signal strength will vary from channel to channel, often on channels that are grouped together on the same transponder.
Your lock indicator and network id are fine.
When you say the cable is far, how long?
You can try swapping your input cables over.
What is your main Sky Q box signal and strength showing?
Look under Settings>Status>Satellite Signal and choose more infoLast edited by lettice; 30-09-17 at 06:37 AM.
