Re: how to app cable to LNB
Cable cover slides into LNB body to expose connectors. Minimal force is required though it is probably best to hold LNB with other hand to prevent stress on LNB arm from causing misalignment. Use silicone grease to lubricate threads when making connection. This also helps to keep out moisture and prevent corrosion. After connecting plugs, slide cover down again to cover connectors.

Re: how to app cable to LNB
For safety ask your neighbour to switch of the Sky box and disconnect it from the power when you are working on the LNB.
...............and get someone to hold the ladder.

Re: how to app cable to LNB
A small tube should be more than sufficient.

Re: how to app cable to LNB
A 10 gm economy syringe will be more than enough and be sure to coat all bare copper wires to prevent corrosion. See "How to fit an F plug" http://www.satcure.co.uk/tech/fconn.htm
Be aware that connecting to a neighbour's LNB will link your coax shield to his. If his house is on a separate mains phase and an electrical fault develops, then (under rare circumstances) you could have 450 volts AC on the Digibox metalwork and connectors!
Therefore, on the one occasion when I did a "shared LNB" installation, I ran all LNB connections through an earthing bar and connected it to ground at the incoming supply point.

Erm... I didn't follow that at all. How about using punctuation? Is there a question in there somewhere? (Is Welsh your native language?)
