      Thumbs down Standby query

      Hi
I wonder if someone can help me.
I have a Sky Freesat box and have recently bought a dvd recorder. Everything is set up fine and I am managing to set up the recorder to the Sky channel, however after a couple of hours the Freesat box goes into standby mode, therefore all I am recording is nothing.
Any ideas how I can overcome this problem.
      Thanks
      Ann

      Re: Standby query

what type of sky box did you get sent. Was it an old digibox, sky + box or a sky + hd box? The feature is an enviromental thing but can be switched off. Let me know which type of box you have and i tell you what you need to do. I suspect you have a sky digibox. If you are unsure what type of box then google sky digibox etc to make sure

Go into the services menu and turn of the power saving/auto standby mode.
