Old sky card vs Freesat from sky card

We have old sky+ box with an expired card, when i tried it a while back we could still get a random bunch of viewable channels on it.

What 'extra' channels would i get if i bought a 25 'freesat from sky card' or is it hardly worth the expense

As far as I know providing the card is the white one you'll get the same channels as they revert to freesat cards when the subscription is cancelled/expired

In which case it'll be non-functional at all now and you'll only get the BBC channels.

You can get the BBC ones without a card, if it still works for ITV and Ch4 then your lucky that it hasnt fully deactivated yet but it will soon enough!

They must've changed it since I last tried without a card!
Do you have a list of the current FTA channels?
