Freesat - Help can't view some Free to Air Channels

I can't view certain Free to Air Channels on my freesat box: Namely channel 815: Geo TV and 792 Ptv Prime.

I know these are available to watch on freesat and I could even watch one of them on my box until a few days ago.

What could be the problem at my end? I live in apartment blocks, would it have to do with the dish/satellite / perhaps its direction has been accidentally moved due to windy weather?

      any advice would be appreciated.
      Thanks

Re: Freesat - Help can't view some Free to Air Channels

I checked the signal strength and the bar is almost non-existent i.e. v. weak.

We got a sky repairman to come in and he said it is either the dish or the cable supplied in our apartment block, but they can't fix it.

so we asked the apartment management and they are unwilling to fix the dish or the cable - as they say it is the sky box which is defective !

any ideas on what the likely problem could be?

Theres 1 thing u could try is to borrow a sky box 4m a friend to c if that works. If u get the same weak signal that means it is the dish or cabling. So then u could go bak to ur aprtmnt mngemnt and tell them u got a new box n stil same problem. Then they have to fix it. Hapened to me once n this wot i did. Turned out something had been chewing at my cable! Try and be firm with ur managemnt and explain wot u had done.

Is Geo TV the same as Geo UK? If so then it is encrypted.

I can't find a channel called PTV Prime on Lyngsat.com
