Just a quick question about extracted passwords

      Hello all

I've just got my router today and used the web page to get my username and password. I probably wont use my own router but need them for backup/breakdown cover. Mind you I think my Netgear DGN2000 is probably better!

Can I ask if it's normal for the password to include characters?

      ie:

      PPP Username

      lanmacaddress@skydsl

      PPP Password

random digits/random digits (see included forward slash)

      Default WiFi Key

      return correct

      Default WiFi SSID
      ?
      Default WiFi Channel
      ?

Thanks. I have spent 15 minutes trying to find an example to compare

      J

      Yes.

As a matter of precaution, I would suggest that you set up your DGN2000 with the Sky details and test it all so that you know that it all works fine.

I also would suggest that you back up the settings to a file, just in case.

      Thank you Scubbie

I'm quite skilled with these things usually!

I'll check and test the connection before changing to the sagem (if I actually bother) I've backed up the settings to text, and also the main config file.

      Thanks one again
