Yes prices are up. Lots of offers gone, like BOGOFs understandably. But as you both say a degree of calmness & civility along with normal stock levels have returned along with “Norman the Doorman” controlling access - one out, one in, maximum of N people inside.

Re: Recommended viewing (dark sense of humour)

I can't believe just how many people thought that it would be safe to pop to the beach over the weekend. One couple had their BBQ put out by the police, several call-outs to the RNLI to rescue sailing boats that had grounded, a landlady was caught having what was called a lock-in but she denied it and still groups of people meeting in various places.

This call-in kind of summarises the stupidity that some people have:

Remember, this was the day after the lock-down in the UK was announced!

I found the report on the idiots and the BBQ. It was on Hove beach (near Brighton for those who don't know the area).

      Sky News

In the story is a copy of the video that someone recorded. Silly people. You'll need to scroll down a little as there are too many other idiots out there.

People appear to be learning. Whilst another video in that article shows a lot of people in a park somewhere in London trying to catch the sun. Ok, they shouldn't be out, but at least they are more than 2m apart.

      Just for Wizard200...

I managed to pop out for a short walk yesterday with my camera. Plenty of flowers are out there for spring.

Re: Recommended viewing (dark sense of humour)

A little something for you all that I saw posted elsewhere...

I interrupt the COVID-19 pandemic to bring you the latest complaint about some people.

This morning I went to the supermarket to buy a bag of food for my dogs. I was astounded by the number of people unable to follow the arrows on the floor and the no. of self-appointed citizens reading the riot act to all transgressors

But even this behaviour got surpassed at the checkout

Already in line, a woman behind me asked me if I had a dog.

I stared at her (those who know me will imagine my gaze 🤔&#128563 ...but then why would I be buying dog food...right? 😝😝

So on impulse, I told her no, that I didnít have a dog, that I was starting the new fashionable dog food diet again, and that I probably shouldn't because I ended up in the hospital the last time, but I did weigh 4 kilos less!

I told her that it was the perfect diet and that all you had to do is carry a few biscuits in your pocket and eat one or two every time you feel hungry (I have to mention that practically everyone in line was interested in my story).

Frightened, the woman asks me if I ended up in the hospital because the dog food had poisoned me. I answered...of course not!

I was admitted because I bent down to sniff the bum of a German Shepherd and I was hit by a truck 😂😂😂

I thought the man behind her was going to have a heart attack...he was laughing so hard!

I have to confess...I posted this to make you smile and stop complaining, questioning and <naughty word>. It's your turn to copy/paste it and make someone else laugh.

We need to laugh more, be considerate and be aware that some people are just not coping and their stress and anxiety create poor behaviour - we need sometimes to give them some compassionate understanding rather than feeling empowered to be pedantic self-appointed police.

Be safe and have a GREAT DAY 😄😄 xxx

Funny enough, I was also just thinking of a new thread for members...

      Worst Jokes!

Everyone, please feel free to post them there so that we can all have some fun!

A couple of points for us all:

There is a swear filter on this forum, so please keep them clean.
I'd suggest one joke per post. This way people can react to each joke.

      Have fun!
