I popped into town earlier today. It was pretty quiet out there.

I took a photo (I won't post it here though) and there is just a handful of people where normally it would have been quite busy.

Since everyone has to keep at least 2m away from one another, perhaps this one too...

      Emphasing the point...

Put your headphones on, turn up the volume and close your eyes as you listen to this for nearly 4 minutes...

Re: Recommended viewing (dark sense of humour)

I too managed to get out to the shops yesterday. I was on a mission to collect a prescription for someone and had to pass the shops.

Likewise, it was pretty quiet. There were a few queues outside some shops. Others were managing. I can't really emphasise enough for this, the local shops really do need your trade. They are still open and I even saw some boxes of tissues on the shelves yesterday! With 45 minute waiting times for a certain supermarket nearby, the local shops may be a little better for you.

So how about some more music...

Here a link to Wizard's recommendation...

Feel free to ost your own!

      A couple more from me...

Re: Recommended viewing (dark sense of humour)

Went to Sainsbury's this morning. They open the store for "browsing" at 9:30 and the tills at 10:00. I heard that last Wednesday the other old fogies were queueing half way round the block for the 8:00 opening (after the NHS staff at 07:30) so I decided to get there at ~9:45 so I wouldn't have to wait too long. I dressed very warmly just in case.

In fact, at that time there was no queue and I went straight in, did all my shopping and was in a check-out queue before 9:55. I was out before 9:10 and there was still no queue outside.

The shelves were pretty well stocked with all the essentials, including milk, rice and, wait for it, cat litter (apparently that's been out-of-stock for a while!).

      So, at last, it's:

Re: Recommended viewing (dark sense of humour)

Disney+ is already available for some people (direct subscription & streaming service). It'll be funny with it on Sky. Much of the content is already available on Sky and much of the rest has already been on Sky. Still, can't have too much of repeats can we? For anyone out there with some teddy bears, you are invited to join The Great Bear Hunt. Quite a few local communities are doing this already and it's harmless fun aimed at providing some entertainment for the little ones whilst they walk around the local area once a day.
