Please stay safe everyone! This lockdown was always coming and it won't be forever.

Hello Scubbie Never had Home Delivery We like to see what we are buying food wise as I work in the
Field of defence electronics working from Home is Not an Option I am afraid
I must admit I thought that supermarkets delivered Free.
I suppose We could be forced to close sometime soon which would allow some overdue DIY to be done
But you still need to visit the store for materials & All household tips are Closed from today in west Sussex. Daytime TV is awful but YouTube is always available but being indoors for weeks is a nightmare scenario for most people . Let's hope for everybody's sake that they find an answer even if
It is by accident like many others ............

Sadly not. There are minimum order values for a start. As for the actual price, this depends on the time of day, the day itself (weekends are always more) and how soon it is. The further ahead you book, the better.

Opps! All those DIY shops will be closed now. That's 24/7 nagging for not getting the goods before the lockdown!!!

As for the content on daytime TV, don't forget that you can download even more content via Catchup TV and ll those films. Soem of the films and TV series I mentioned at the top of this thread are actually available in the Sky Store, but I posted them for fun not to promote the Sky Store.

Good Morning All Hope You are Well
However Scubbie I did purchase quite a bit of the materials in advance so SWMBO will be Happy
for a while at least, I think the worry maybe that it is possible that people will become lethargic & get on
one another's nerves due to the restrictions.
Lets just hope it wont last as long as feared & we can all return to what we like to think is reality .......
      !!!!!
I think it will be a Good Idea if all Members keep posting about any subject they like & that will help keep
peoples 'Spirits Up' at least. Hopefully
      !!!!!

Apparently many of the DIY stores are staying open. Well, at least for now. So should you have forgotten something, there's hope for you yet

The next three weeks are just going to be the beginning. I'm sorry, but Spain has had to increase its lockdown by 2 weeks. China is only now attempting to return to normal.

With all the fools squeezing onto the tube, for example, it is clear that the message has not been getting through to people.

Thankfully I did manage to book another food delivery. I'm not being ridiculous, but it's for 14th April. I did it late last night and all the slots have now gone. They were gone by 6am. I'll be making the most of it and will chat with a neighbour to share the delivery slot and she'll pay for what she wants. At least that will help us both and ensure that she has some food and other items getting delivered.

I would warmly welcome members posting on these pages. Whether it is a recent or old photo that you have just edited or some music that you wish to share or a video that you've edited, this forum has this section just for you.

For anyone interested in watching wild birds, this year CarnyxWild has switched to YouTube for their streaming service.

The Chichester camera has gone down as I am typing this, but it's been interesting all day with a little activity. They should be laying eggs any day now.

Re: Recommended viewing (dark sense of humour)

None of the major supermarket home delivery services have any slots free in this town for the whole visible diary period whenever we try! So it’s #shoplocal for us. Luckily we have a couple of good little shops nearby. Not as cheap as the big boys but at least they are not rammed with panic buyers stripping the place of everything they can get their hands on...

Hello All Hope you are Well
Being a very small company we are staying open at present as it would not be possible to work
From Home with our products , We were passed a letter today stating the facts regarding our
Business & the reasons for staying open should any of us be stopped on our way to and from
Work. I really think it would be good if our members set posts for debate or video clips , music
Clips, information or what ever else they like & you never know you may find something useful .
And you could be helping others that are stuck at home .
Our members have always been very helpful in the past with tips & solutions to many problems
so let's not hold back now keep our community active

      Just a Thought ............
      !!!!!!! Good Luck

Re: Recommended viewing (dark sense of humour)

@speedyrite : The home delivery sites are seriously struggling at the moment. Whenever I've navigated to the ASDA site or used the app I keep getting messages that it's busy or that "they are repairing something".

Certainly locally when I was out last week the local shops were fairing better than the supermarkets fr keeping stock on the shelves. It sounds crazy, but in many ways you are actually better off shopping local and they too are for your custom.

@wizard200 : Looking at the news last night, the police have been pulling over some people in their cars. I would be tempted to laminate your letters. You're going to need them and they may be handled a great deal before this pandemic is over. Perhaps the song below may be unsuitable whilst you're at work but you can always look forward to it when you're back home <3

In the meantime, this one can be played...
