After nearly 3 months it finally arrived. At the price they charge for replacement blades I can't see me using it regularly.

      Re: Hot deal

I've had one of these face mowers ever since the 'sensor' was released in the early 90's.

So far each new incarnation has had the same blade fitting mechanism, so all types are interchangeable.
Currently using mach2 blades on a mach3turbo handle.

      edit
It seems that 'fusion' is a completely different range & so probably has a different fitting.
There are older blade types which do fit the fusion handle though.

      edit #2
      I've got that all wrong.
There was no such thing as a mach 2.
Sensors had 2 blades but the excel version had 3 & they were all interchangeable.

All mach 3's had 3 blades & were all interchangeable. (currently using mach 3 on a turbo handle).

Any fusion blade will fit any fusion handle.

      Re: Hot deal

all the 5 blade ones are the same fitment
i always go for the cheapest i can find

Asda where doing 4 blades (proglide) for 1 in like 2009 (discontinued)
I picked up about 30 worth and im still going on them

think i have about 20 blades left + the free one that came about 3 days ago..

That's my M.O. too & haven't bought any for ages, which is partly* why i got confused there.

I had to double-check their website/s but it does seem that there is only 1 relevant range here - fusion.
Fusion came out long ago & there was 1 more version of this before fusion 'proglide' came along.
So the freebie being discussed in this thread is the 3rd of 5 or 6 versions of the fusion range & all of those blades will fit all of those handles.

      * I must have had a sensor excel at some point (3 blades) but used standard sensor (2 blades) blades on it.

My dad swears by bic orange throwaway's.
