Up there with the spectacular of watching the first ever Space Shuttle launch.

It was amazing! As for the chute opening - I think he said he was getting cold air in his helmet, maybe too cold to continue at that speed?

Probably did not bother him as his visor was steamed up he would not see anything.

Waste of time then.....Only the highest balloon flight and highest free fall have been confirmed.
The guy is going to be remembered just as much as Neil Armstrong, I would bet.
