A few further pics for you:
Light blue touch paper and run...
Who said Helicopters couldn't fly upside down?
Another, close up...
Some more planes:
This one should not have been flying. Apparently he was caught pinching someone's chips and had his wings clipped:
Time is up number 9, please come home...
P.S. The Navy were watching over to ensure that the RAF were behaving...

Re: Bournemouth Air Show
Just been looking at the website and I'm surprised Typhoon is not there.
However I'm wondering if the lineup for Sunday has a typo, surely they wont close the show with a Tucano, and that should say Typhoon.
Mmm, maybe not as it isnt listed here either - the RAF Typhoon Display Team - Display Programme
Tho saying that neither is Royal Lancashire Regiment's open day which was last weekend, and despite the weather they put on a limited low level display. That might be because they are built down the road from here tho.

Re: Bournemouth Air Show
According to the Official Programme the Tornado GR4 display will be on between 3pm and 4.15pm on Saturday and again 3pm-4.30pm on Sunday. They are listed as the last but one event in that time slot for both Saturday & Sunday, with the Avro Vulcan finishing both days.
Sadly the Vulcan wasn't showing yesterday or today. Also, due to high winds where they had been staying, the Battle of Britain memorial flight was cancelled on Thursday. I trust that they were present today and will be present too over the weekend.
Still, I enjoyed playing with my new camera yesterday. Between us we took well over 5,000 shots. I also took some video which I need to edit together at some stage. Some of it was 'alright' for a first attempt, but why do some people insist on walking in front of you when you have a camera?

Re: Bournemouth Air Show
There is a subtle difference between Tornado & Typhoon
Apart from the spelling one is old hat and the other is awesome.
Thats a bit unfair on Tornado as it is a great plane, however when you see them both at the same airshow the Tornado needs about 10 miles to do a high speed turn whereas Typhoon does it almost on one of its axis.
As for people walking in front of you, I'm afraid thats a sign of the times, we are surrounded by ignorami.

Re: Bournemouth Air Show
Sorry, yeah they are different. No Typhoons listed
.
I prefer the Harriers though. The fact that they can also take a 'bow' too really adds to their abilities.
