He had been ill for some time now, recently hitting the headline due to being in a coma for over a week. Robin Gibbs finally passed away after being diagnosed with Colon cancer 18 months ago.

He and his two brothers (Barry and Maurice) sung together for a long time, forming the group the Bee Gees.

He was involved in the writing of music up until very recently with 'Titanic Requiem' which was played to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic.

It is perhaps hard to a single song to remember him by as both the Bee Gees and him sold so may singles and albums between them.
