Re: who will win next election 2015

      Greetings,

The problem with forcing people to vote could result in unexpected results as if forced into something people will generally choose the most weird option. So we could end up with a party that is worse than the main 3 combined.

Just a shame it's not possible to take the best bits from all parties and create a party by the people, for the people. Perhaps then those of us that work for a living won't feel like we're getting no where and systems will then become fairer.

We are all in it together as we all have to share the pain.

I have no problem with him getting a bonus, but not to have it paid until we (thats you and me) get our money back. Then he can have as much bonus as he likes, infact he can have the whole bank.

Deadman, that is a very good point. For the banks that are private it would be very dangerous to set pay caps. If we do then we should be doing it to everyone and the footballers are a prime example as is Jonathan Ross etc etc

It cant be one rule for one and another for the others. For the publically owned banks we should definitely cap pay.

You can blame the bankers all you like, but if a sweet shop is left open overnight, is it okay to pop in and help yourself? Of course not. It was the greed of the people that helped as well as the labour party happily allowing it all to happen. We are all to blame.

If the country has any sense then the alliance or at least the tories will remain in power to continue to try and fix the mess this country is in as although hard this is the right direction

However as people feel like they are having to contribute out of their own pocket even though most were responsible one way or another I should imagine labour will get back in with the promise of giving all the money back, stealing from the rich middle classes and inevitably putting us back to square minus one again
